Listing defaults

Listing defaults are workspace-wide settings that apply to every listing your team creates. They live in Settings, Listing defaults.

Who can edit

Owners and admins can edit listing defaults. Members see them as read-only.

Best Offer, whether buyers can send offers on your listings. This is on by default. Turn it off if you do not want offers.
SKU suffix, append a unique suffix to each SKU automatically so SKUs stay unique across listings.
Refurbished eligibility, off by default. Turn it on only if your eBay account is approved to list refurbished items. When off, refurbished condition options are hidden so you cannot pick a condition eBay would reject.
Description template and mode, an optional block of text combined with the AI description on every listing.

The description mode controls how your template combines with the AI-written description:

Mode	Result
AI only	Use the AI description as-is. This is the default.
Prepend	Your template appears before the AI description.
Append	Your template appears after the AI description.
Template only	Use only your template, ignore the AI description.

A common use is a short brand or shipping statement that should appear on every listing.
