ListSnap AI is built to work great on a phone. The fastest path is to photograph an item where you are, standing right at the shelf, and let AI turn those shots into a listing. No desktop step in between.
The entire interface is responsive and built for touch, so you can use ListSnap AI right in your phone's browser with the full feature set. Installing it as an app (below) is optional and gives the exact same experience, just with a home-screen icon and a full-screen, app-like feel. Use whichever you prefer.
On a phone or tablet, you get two ways to add photos:
Both appear on the upload screen and in the Photos panel on the review page, so if you notice a missing angle while reviewing a draft, you can shoot it right there without starting over.
On a desktop computer you instead get Add photos, plus drag-and-drop on the upload screen, since there is no camera to capture from.
Capture the front, the back, the label or barcode, and any flaws. The first photo becomes the eBay cover image, so lead with your best shot. You can reorder photos after adding them. See Upload photos.
ListSnap AI is a Progressive Web App (PWA), so you can install it to your home screen and open it full-screen like a native app. There is no app store download. This step is optional, the mobile browser already gives you everything.
Open ListSnap AI in Safari, tap the Share button, then choose Add to Home Screen.
Open ListSnap AI in Chrome. Tap the Install prompt if it appears, or open the browser menu and choose Install app (or Add to Home screen).
Once installed, the app opens on its own without browser bars, and the icon sits on your home screen like any other app.

The app shell installs to your device, but the parts that do the work run online: AI recognition and publishing to eBay both call live services. ListSnap AI also never stores your private dashboard pages on the device, for security.
So you need a connection to recognize photos and publish. If you go offline mid-session, ListSnap AI shows a simple offline screen with a retry button, and you can pick up where you left off once you are back online. A practical workflow: take your photos anywhere, then submit when you have signal.
Your phone alone is enough to do everything: connect, shoot, review, and publish. You never need a desktop. But because mobile and desktop share one workspace, some sellers like to combine the two. It is just a habit that works well for them, not a requirement, so use it only if it suits you.
One handy approach pairs the phone with auto-publish: turn it on in your listing preferences, then on your phone shoot and submit item after item as you walk your inventory. Each one that passes the pre-flight checks goes live on eBay automatically, hands-free. See Auto-publish.
Then, if you want, sit down at a desktop later to handle some things on a bigger screen: review anything flagged Needs your input, fine-tune titles and prices, and manage your published listings.
